This Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications, games, websites, and related services published by Buor Studio (collectively, the "Apps", "we", "us", or "our"). Our Apps do not all collect the same data. For example, Morphin may process photos or videos for AI generation, Riley may store mood and journal information, Pogether may process focus sessions and room participation, and Duckbell may process workout or fitness-related data. The sections below explain what happens when a specific feature is available and you choose to use it.
We only process the data needed for the feature you use
If an App does not offer a feature, the data for that feature is not collected by that App. If an App asks you to upload a photo, connect Apple Health, create an account, join a focus room, start a subscription, enable analytics, or use cloud sync, that data is used only for the purposes described in this policy and the in-app permission screen. We do not sell your personal data.
01 Scope and App Differences
Buor Studio publishes different products with different data needs. This policy is written to cover all current and future Buor Studio Apps without pretending that every App collects every category of data.
- If an App works locally on your device, the related data may stay on your device unless you enable sync, backup, export, sharing, or a server-based feature.
- If an App has accounts, subscriptions, cloud sync, online rooms, generated content, analytics, ads, or support requests, we may process the data needed to provide those features.
- If an App requests a platform permission such as Photos, Camera, Microphone, Notifications, Health, or Motion, the App uses that permission only for the reason shown in the in-app permission prompt.
02 Information We Collect
Account and profile data
- If an App supports accounts, we may collect your email address, display name, sign-in provider ID, profile details, avatar, authentication tokens, and account settings.
- If an App does not require an account, you may be able to use the App without giving us your name or email address.
Content you provide
- Photos, videos, images, prompts, generated outputs, notes, journal entries, workout entries, timer sessions, room names, comments, support messages, or other content you choose to create, upload, import, save, or share.
- If you upload content that includes another person, you are responsible for having the right or permission to use that content.
Device, app, and technical data
- Device type, operating system, app version, language, region, time zone, crash logs, diagnostic events, and performance data.
- Network information such as IP address and user-agent may be processed for security, rate limiting, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
- Anonymous or app-scoped identifiers may be used for analytics, subscriptions, entitlement checks, abuse prevention, and remembering app state.
Purchases and subscriptions
- If you buy a subscription, credit pack, lifetime unlock, or other in-app purchase, Apple, Google, and/or RevenueCat process purchase events, product IDs, entitlement status, renewal status, and transaction metadata.
- We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
Support and communication
- If you contact us, we may process your email address, message content, screenshots, device details you provide, and the history needed to respond to your request.
03 How We Use Information
- To provide the App's core features, including generation, tracking, syncing, saving, rooms, workouts, widgets, notifications, purchases, and support.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Apps.
- To manage subscriptions, entitlements, credits, refunds, trials, and purchase history.
- To personalize the App experience based on your settings, language, progress, history, and preferences.
- To prevent fraud, spam, abuse, unauthorized access, and violations of our terms.
- To comply with legal obligations, store requirements, tax/accounting rules, and valid legal requests.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use sensitive health, wellness, journal, or face-containing content for advertising.
04 App-Specific Data
AI photo, video, and creative Apps, including Morphin and similar products
- If you upload a photo, video, image, prompt, or generation option, it is used to create the output you requested.
- Uploaded photos or videos may contain faces. We treat faces as part of the submitted image or video. Unless a specific App feature clearly says otherwise, we do not use facial recognition to identify you, create biometric templates, or build faceprints.
- AI inputs and outputs may be sent to third-party AI processing providers, such as fal.ai, Wiro, or similar providers, only to perform the requested generation or processing job.
- We do not use your uploaded photos, videos, or face-containing content to train our own AI models.
- Generated outputs may remain available in the App, on your device, in your account, or in temporary server storage when needed for the feature, export, history, moderation, troubleshooting, or abuse prevention.
Mood, journal, reflection, and wellness Apps, including Riley
- If you enter moods, notes, tags, check-ins, reflections, media, or preferences, that information is used to show your history, charts, reminders, widgets, insights, and related App features.
- Some mood or journal information may be sensitive. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it publicly unless you choose to export or share it.
- If cloud sync, backup, account recovery, or cross-device features are enabled, the related data may be sent to our backend or service providers to provide those features.
Focus, study, productivity, and social room Apps, including Pogether
- If you use timers, sessions, statistics, rooms, leaderboards, friend features, avatars, names, or chat/community tools, we process the data needed to run those features.
- Room participation, public profile details, shared stats, or leaderboard entries may be visible to other users depending on the feature and your settings.
- We may process moderation, report, block, and safety data to prevent abuse and keep community features functional.
Fitness, workout, habit, and health-connected Apps, including Duckbell
- If you log workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, routines, body metrics, goals, or progress, that information is used to provide fitness tracking, plans, history, charts, and reminders.
- If an App integrates with Apple Health, HealthKit, Google Fit, or similar services, data is read or written only after you grant permission and only for the categories shown in the permission screen.
- Health and fitness data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties for marketing. You can revoke Health permissions in your device settings.
- Our fitness Apps are not medical devices and do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.
Games, puzzles, and lightweight utility Apps
- If you play one of our games or lightweight utilities, we may process progress, scores, levels, achievements, preferences, crash logs, analytics, purchases, and support messages.
- If a game has ads, analytics, leaderboards, cloud saves, or purchases, the relevant third-party sections below apply.
05 Third-Party Services
Depending on the App and the features you use, we may work with service providers such as:
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI processing | fal.ai, Wiro, or similar providers | Generate or process requested images, videos, or creative outputs | Uploaded media, prompts, generation settings, temporary job metadata |
| Purchases and entitlements | Apple, Google, RevenueCat | Process payments, subscriptions, trials, credits, refunds, and access rights | Transaction metadata, product IDs, entitlement status, anonymous/app user IDs |
| Backend, storage, and sync | Cloud hosting, database, authentication, and file storage providers | Accounts, sync, backups, generated content delivery, rooms, support, security | Account data, content, settings, logs, IP address, device/app metadata |
| Analytics and diagnostics | Analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring tools | Understand reliability, feature usage, crashes, and performance | App events, crash logs, device/app metadata, anonymous or app-scoped IDs |
| Ads, if used by a specific App | Ad networks and mediation providers | Show, measure, cap, and improve ads | Advertising identifiers where permitted, device/app metadata, ad events |
We require service providers to use data only to provide services to us, protect it appropriately, and not use it for their own unrelated purposes where prohibited by law or platform rules.
07 Retention and Deletion
- Local-only data: Data stored only on your device remains there until you delete it, uninstall the App, clear app data, or use an in-app deletion/reset feature.
- Account data: Kept while your account is active, then deleted or anonymized after account deletion unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, or compliance reasons.
- AI uploads and temporary jobs: Kept only as long as needed to process, deliver, troubleshoot, secure, or moderate the requested job, unless you save the output to your account or a feature clearly requires longer retention.
- Generated outputs: May remain on your device or account until you delete them, use an in-app history deletion feature, delete your account, or request deletion.
- Support messages: Kept as long as needed to respond, maintain support history, and protect our rights.
- Purchase records: Retained as required by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
- Security logs: May be retained for a limited period to protect the Apps, prevent abuse, and investigate incidents.
08 Account Deletion
If a Buor Studio App lets you create an account, you can request deletion of that account and the personal data associated with it. The exact in-app path may differ by App, but account deletion is generally available from account, profile, settings, privacy, or support screens when the App supports accounts.
- In the App: Open the App, go to Settings/Profile/Account/Privacy, and choose Delete Account or Contact Support if that App uses a support-assisted deletion flow.
- By email: Send a deletion request to privacy@buor.studio from the email address associated with your account, or include the App name and any user/account ID shown in the App.
- What we delete: Account profile data and personal data associated with the account, unless we must keep limited records for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, or compliance reasons.
- What may not be deleted automatically: Data stored only on your device, content you exported or shared outside the App, app store purchase records controlled by Apple or Google, and data that another user has independently saved or received through a shared feature.
- Subscriptions: Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel subscriptions from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
If an App does not have accounts, you can usually delete local data by using the App's reset/delete controls, deleting individual entries, clearing app data, or uninstalling the App. You may still contact us for help with any server-side data connected to the App.
09 Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit where applicable, access controls, service provider safeguards, and monitoring for abuse or security issues. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Withdraw consent or revoke device permissions through the App or your device settings.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Opt out of certain advertising or tracking where applicable.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@buor.studio. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
11 Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, unless a specific App clearly says it is designed for children and follows the applicable rules for that category. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without required consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12 International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections with service providers.
13 Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the relevant App or by another reasonable method.
